Our assignment is to spiritually equip and empower God’s people to fulfill their God given destiny and assignment through relationship with Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit.
We exist to help mankind come to the realization that God has a purpose and a plan for everyones’ life. We will help them find their place in God’s plan, begin to follow Christ, and walk in that plan.
Welcome to Our History: Unleashing Destiny’s Journey
Destiny Church International, a beacon of hope and transformation, began its incredible journey in October 2012. Our roots trace back to the Destiny Center, an inspired outreach ministry founded by the visionary Pastor Sue Ceasar-Alexander. From its modest beginnings on the Near East Side of Columbus, Ohio, Destiny Church International has evolved into a powerhouse of faith, impacting lives and communities across the southeast side of the city.
A Relaunch of Purpose
The rebirth of Destiny Church International in 2012 marked a pivotal moment in our history. With a renewed sense of purpose, we stepped into the world, guided by our unwavering commitment to spreading the love and teachings of Christ. Under the new leadership of Pastor Teddy Ceasar, we set forth to create a spiritual haven where souls could find solace, strength, and salvation.
Embracing Change and Triumphing Through Challenges
As with any journey, Destiny Church International encountered its share of trials and triumphs. The pandemic of 2020 brought unforeseen challenges, but it also presented an opportunity to embrace the digital realm and expand our reach. Virtual worship services emerged as a powerful medium to connect with people not only across Columbus, Ohio but also throughout the United States. Through these virtual encounters, lives were transformed, and communities found unity in faith.
